Method
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and gooey.
- Garnish with fresh basil (if using) and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
