Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour 180g
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter 110g
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas about 3-4 bananas
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips plus extra for sprinkling

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and sugars, then add bananas, yogurt, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle extra chips, and bake 65-75 mins.
  6. Cool in pan, then flip and slice to serve.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor and sweetness.
