  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium apples apples, peeled and diced
Sweeteners and Vinegars
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Other Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries, apples, sugar, and vinegar in a saucepan.
  2. Add onion, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt; bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until thickened and cranberries burst.
  4. Stir in raisins and cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Cool before serving.
