Main ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix chicken, rice, soups, broth, sour cream, milk, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish and top with cheese.
  4. Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and spread over top.
  5. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!

For extra flavor, add herbs or spices as desired.
