Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix mashed bananas and applesauce in a large bowl.
- Add sweetener and vanilla, then combine.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture; mix until just combined.
- Fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips if desired, then pour into pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
