  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Mash bananas in a large bowl.
  4. Stir in melted butter.
  5. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
  6. Sprinkle baking soda and salt. Stir gently.
  7. Add flour and stir until just combined.
  8. Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until done.
  10. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  11. Cool completely before slicing.
