  • 250 g Proteinpasta aus Kichererbsen oder Linsen
  • 200 ml Sahne oder pflanzliche Sahne
  • 1 kleine Zwiebel fein gehackt
  • 2 Knoblauchzehen gehackt
  • 2 Esslöffel Olivenöl
  • 100 g geriebener Parmesan optional
  • 1 Teelöffel Paprikapulver
  • 1 Teelöffel Italian Herbs getrocknete Kräuter
  • Salz und Pfeffer nach Geschmack
  • Frischer Basilikum zum Garnieren

Method
 

  1. Bring water to a boil, add salt.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  3. Brown ground beef in olive oil, add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  4. Add paprika and Italian herbs, stir well.
  5. Pour in cream, bring to a simmer, and let it thicken.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, add Parmesan if desired.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.

For a lower-fat option, use lean ground beef and light cream.
