Method
- Bring water to a boil, add salt.
- Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Brown ground beef in olive oil, add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Add paprika and Italian herbs, stir well.
- Pour in cream, bring to a simmer, and let it thicken.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper, add Parmesan if desired.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lower-fat option, use lean ground beef and light cream.
