Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
Seasoning & Garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Rinse shrimp and pat dry.
  2. Combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Add cornstarch for thicker sauce.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer.
  4. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes until pink.
  5. Pour honey garlic mixture over shrimp. Toss to coat.
  6. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, until cooked and sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
