- Pat the chicken breasts dry.
- Whisk together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon zest, and half the lemon juice.
- Coat the chicken with the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 5-6 minutes until golden-brown.
- Flip chicken and cook for another 5 minutes until firm.
- Toss broccoli with avocado oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; arrange around chicken.
- Bake for 10 minutes until broccoli is tender crisp and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Ensure chicken reaches 165°F. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the skillet while searing the chicken.
