Ingredients
  

Sloppy Joes Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Add browned beef, onion, bell pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  4. Serve on hamburger buns.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
