Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- Mash bananas, then mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.
- Gently fold in most chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Pour batter into pan, sprinkle remaining chips on top, and bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a handful of chopped nuts or a dash of cinnamon.
