15-Minute Chicken Sausage Pasta Meal Prep

A quick and easy pasta dish perfect for meal prepping. This recipe combines chicken sausage, pasta, marinara sauce, and vegetables for a delicious and convenient meal.

  • 1 pound cooked chicken beef sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 24 ounce marinara sauce
  • 1 cup frozen vegetables (peas, broccoli, or mixed vegetables)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil (if using) in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken beef sausage and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  3. Add frozen vegetables to the skillet with the beef sausage and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Pour in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce, beef sausage, and vegetables.
  6. Divide pasta evenly among meal prep containers.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using).
  8. Allow to cool completely before sealing and refrigerating. Will last for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
